Westdene Graffiti Project

PICS \\ Overhead Sketch Battles

The 2012 edition of the Overhead Sketch Battles presented by Grayscale kicks off tomorrow (8 March) at their store and gallery in Johannesburg.

Below are some favourites from last years battle:

All sketches were drawn on a piece of overhead transparency using an overhead projector over a one-hour period. Only black markers were allowed and an audience watched the entire process as it was projected onto the wall.

PICS \\ Overhead Sketch Battles: Round 1

The first rounds of Grayscale’s Overhead Sketch Battles took place on the 5th and 12th of May 2011. Check out the pics of the artists at work:
