EVENT \\ Back to the City x Caps & Cans

Back to the City annual Hip Hop Festival is back for its 11th edition in Newtown, Johannesburg.

This year, Caps & Cans and Loop spray paint have partnered up to bring a recharged version of the graffiti pillar battles.

Caps & Cans would like to extend an open invitation to all graffiti artists and crews from across South Africa.
12 pillars are to be painted under the M1 highway by crews and solo artists.
Loop spray paint will be sponsored to artists on the day. Huge cash prizes and hampers to be won.

Rules and Judging:
- Straight up graffiti battle (No theme, bring your best and remember where you came from)
- 3 or more people per crew. Nothing crude or offensive.
- Looking for original and unique ideas, style and execution.
- Use of space and colours, ideas and concept.
- Letter styles, characters and overall production
